             Glen's Great Granddaughters keep the Jueckstock family on the Au Sable River

Kara and Leah had a ball and only Kara caught a trout on the Golden Girl, small but it made a believer out of her.

       This was the girls first trout fishing trip and as you can see there were no waders, the sun shine helped but that water had to be cold. Next trip we'll have to invest in some waders.

       The Golden Girl is still the flavor of the season

My wife and I gave it a try on one of our northern trips to visit my In-Laws and we did      produce one nice Brown, 18.5 "  It adds a little excitement to our trip. Cold and nasty rainy weather.

season then I have.

Here's a few pictures of his fish. The Golden Girl strikes again.

It was cold, snowy and windy on May 2nd, 05,  That must be the reason for the missing smile. This fish hit hard as I flipped the Golden Girl up under a log jam about 8:45 AM   I could feel every move he made. This makes it all worthwhile. He is 17"   They must be 15" on the N.Branch of the AuSable River. Many 13" and smaller were released that morning.

This is Leah, one of my 6 Grand Children. She came to spend a Sat. night with us and brought with her a can of home dug worms and flashing blue eyes asking "Grandpa, can we go fishing?  I brought these" How could a grandfather say no to that. Below is pictured her first fish. I'm sure there will be more fishing ventures. The last picture is a priceless look on her face as she holds the worm between her fingers.
